Ferritin Quantitative Test

COVID-19 Ag & Flu A/B Combo Self Test

COVID-19 Ag & Flu A/B Combo Self Test is a colloidal gold immunochromatography intended for the in vitro rapid, simultaneous qualitative detection and differentiation of N protein from SARS-CoV-2, influenza A and influenza B directly from nasal swab specimens obtained from individuals, who are suspected of COVID-19, influenza A or influenza B infection. Results are for the simultaneous identification of N protein of SARS-CoV-2, influenza A and influenza B.

Product Detail

Introduction

Multiple viral infections is a trend, and many COVID-19 patients have multiple viral infections. Coinfection in COVID-19 patients may worsen disease outcomes. We found that a higher proportion of patients with COVID-19 were coinfected with one or more additional pathogens. [ From JCLA Journal of Clinical Laboratory Analysis ]

Symptoms caused by the infection of SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza viruses are very similar, which brings a huge challenge in diagnosis and timely medical treatment. Biotime Flu A/B & COVID-19 Ag Combo Test with differentiated detection of the multiple pathogens will reduce times and uncertainty on the initial screening of patients with SARS-CoV-2 or Influenza.

Test Procedure

1. Carefully peel off the sealing film on the tube to avoid spilling any fluid. Place sealing film in the plastic waste bag provided.

2. Place the extraction tube in the extraction tube holder (attached inside the box) to avoid spilling the liquid.

3. Open the swab packaging and take out the swab.

4. Insert the swab into both nostrils 5 times about 2.5 cm (1 inch).

5. Withdraw the swab from the nasal cavity, rotating the swab for about 10 seconds to release the antigen into the extraction solution from the swab head.

6. Install the nozzle cap onto the extraction tube.

7. Loading: drip 2 drops (about 65μL) of extraction solution into the left sample well  of the test cartridge.

Loading: drip 2 drops (about 65μL) of extraction solution into the right sample well of the test cartridge, and start the timer, read the results at 15 minutes.
