Introduction
Dengue virus belongs to a serotype subgroup in the family flaviridae, mainly transmitted through vectorial insects such as Aedes aegypti and Aedes alboptus, causing dengue fever and dengue shock syndrome with high morbidity and mortality.
The Dengue NS1 Antigen Rapid Test is a rapid lateral flow immunoassay for the qualitative detection of Dengue virus NS1 antigen and can give a result in 15 minutes by minimally skilled personnel without any laboratory equipment.

Test Procedure 
The test should be operated at room temperature 59-96°F （15-40℃). 
1. Balance the test cassette, specimen and buffer to reach room temperature before testing. 
2. Remove the test cassette from the foil pouch and use it as soon as possible. 
3. Place the test cassette on a flat and clean surface. Transfer the specimen by a pipette or a dropper: 
To use a Pipette: 
4. Transfer 10μL of Serum, Plasma, or Whole blood specimen into the Sample Well (S) of the test cassette, then add 2 drops of sample buffer into the Buffer Well (B) and start the timer. Avoid air bubbles in the Sample and Buffer well. See illustration below. 
To use Dropper: 
5. Hold the dropper vertically and fill the capillary part of the dropper (not exceed the capillary part )with Serum, Plasma or Whole blood specimen (10μL), then carefully dispense the specimen into the Sample Well (S) of the test cassette, then add 2 drops of sample buffer into the Buffer Well (B) and start the timer. Avoid air bubbles in the Sample and Buffer well. 
6. Wait for the colored line(s) to appear and read the results at 15 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 20 minutes. If positive signal appears after 20 minutes, it should not be reported as positive.
