Toxoplasma IgG/IgM Rapid Test (Fluorescence Immunoassay)

The Toxoplasma IgG/IgM Rapid Test is an in vitro immunoassay for the qualitative determination of IgG and IgM class antibodies to Toxoplasma gondii in human serum. IgG results with this assay are used to indicate past or recent infection with Toxoplasma gondii. IgM results obtained with this assay are used as an aid in the diagnosis of acute or recent Toxoplasma gondii infections. The Toxoplasma IgM test shall not be used for prenatal screening of asymptomatic people, and the test results of this reagent shall not be used alone as the basis for termination of pregnancy.
